Where We Started, Where We Are Now?

Amvoc was founded in 2010 by one of the former owners of a Global Virgin Brand.

Initially starting from a very small office in Dacre, in the Yorkshire Dales, the company began telemarketing in the legal sector, assisting two major law firms grow their business in the commercial sector.

Within eighteen months we had outgrown our first home and began adding new facilities and experienced staff.

Initially two other offices in Pateley Bridge, then a much larger unit, New York Mills (near Summerbridge, North Yorkshire).

From 8 talented telesales professional to 18, then 35, then 68, then 145, then 280, then 355 and now 450 full time telemarketing professionals working on a range of prestigious accounts!!!!!!

Now working in both business to business and business to consumer telemarketing we quickly established ourselves as a very professional and reliable supplier of inbound and outbound services.

2015 saw the opening of a new Head Office in Harrogate – where we now employ 80 plus staff offering inbound and outbound telemarketing services in both B2C and B2B environments.

Recognizing the huge demand for international telemarketing services and account managers with various language skills, we opened a new division of the business that now helps a variety of European and global partners develop their brands and services throughout the world.

In early 2023 the business faced spiralling post Covid debts. The brand website has since been acquired by new management under Amvoc Marketing Ltd. Our new management team have over 30 years B2B Telemarketing / Lead generation. In the driving seat we will be looking to exceed client expectations and bring along former team members.

As our business began to rapidly expand, we decided to invest significant sums in operational and support functions by opening new departments within the company:

Compliance Team

A new compliance team of twelve full time professionals was added in early 2016 to handle and supervise all quality control.

Spot checks as well as routine examination of all sales calls, appointment bookings and lead generation pitches.

Operations Team

We expanded our operations team to six full time personnel dealing with everything from sourcing data to compliance, security, facilities, health & safety, telephone, CRM and dialler systems.

New Leeds Office

2018 – We opened a new state of the art facility in Leeds (Friden House) - this office is able to accommodate 120 further staff.

2020 – Just prior to Covid arrival we added more floors of Friden House – taking our Leeds operation to 250 staff.

March 2020 to September 2021 – Awful period during Covid – Everything from lockdowns, to staff shortages and travel to and from work issues combined with many clients having to temporarily halt work – a really challenging and interesting period – but we not only survived – we prospered the moment things started picking up!!!

2022 we added three new major clients – in response we have opened a new Manchester office capable of taking up to 200 further staff

IT Team

We now employ six full time internal office based I.T. professionals to assist us with the day to day operation of our telemarketing teams.

Managing all networks, databases, servers, IT hardware, software, emails, resilience monitoring and regular testing of all.
